Latest news! The 2018 Guardian League table results were published and we are delighted to announce that for the 2^nd Year running Sunderland University has risen up the tables amongst UK Universities.

This year we have accomplished by climbing a further 8 Places in the 2018 Table, which means we have risen 38 Places over the past 2 Years.

Sunderland exceptional performance in subject areas:

►  Top4^th Best in the country for Hospitality, Event Management & Tourism

►  Top 5^th Best in the country for Nursing, UK

►  Significant rises for Business Management & Marketing where Sunderland is placed 52^nd out of 131 universities like

       Newscastle ranked 60^th, Northumbria 76^th and Teesside in 80^th position

►  Ranked 27^th out of 102 for Accounting and Finance

►  Ranked 26^th in Mechanical Engineering ahead of Newscastle, Northumbria and Teesside

►  Ranked 14^th overall in Fashion & Textiles

►  Ranked 15^th overall in both Film, Production & Photography and Media & Film Studies
